Our entire moving experience was great. We received our items at our new home about a week ago and I've opened all boxes except those with framed, hanging pictures or artwork. So far everything from boxed items to furniture to exercise equipment have arrived in the condition in which they left our home. We moved from CA to PA, with all items in storage almost 2 weeks between packing/loading and transporting. The movers in CA (CA Safe/Martian Movers) were great. Their crew came in on time and pac ked and loaded things in record time. They were courteous and professional and packed items I had not already packed very safely. They then transported to storage and had to unload everything into their storage facility in CA. Then, two weeks later, National Van lines came and reloaded everything into the large van for the cross country portion of the move. The driver, Art, was excellent and was in communication with us the entire time he was on the road. He delivered our items exactly when he s aid he would and he and his crew were great, too. They were quick, professional, and careful and courteous. While I have not had a chance to open the artwork boxes (they're packed really well and will take a lot of time to open), I'm sure they will be fine just as all the other items have been. I know moving companies get a bad rap these days, but working with Martian Movers as an official agent for National Van Lines, and then National Van Lines directly, I can say that we had a wonderful exper ience. I was able to pay the bill of lading online the business day before delivery of items and it was smooth sailing. I was not charged for anything additional at delivery time. It was all a very good moving experience and I'd recommend working with National Van Lines for your move.
Our experience with National Van Lines was excellent. Cal-Safe movers did a great job of picking up our household possessions. Sue Mackey from customer service called us regularly to update on the progress of our move. The driver, Art and his associates were on time, careful, polite and extremely efficient. All of our household possessions arrived in excellent condition. My husband and I strongly recommend National Van Lines.
