Customer Testimonials

It was fine, sone packing was questionable.

Loading Fast, efficient; crew were careful not to damage furniture or walls, even in tight turns on stairways. Issue with our two e-bikes - they were unnecessarily broken down, then upon delivery were reassembled incompletely. Delivery Rushed. The crew were being rushed to get to their next job and were sloppy with reassembling some furniture and especially bikes (lost parts). Only minor damage to items. Ruined bike mirrors (lost parts meant they could not be re-attached), dented wine r efrigerator. Otherwise no significant damage. Nothing missing, except bike parts and some screws to another piece of furniture. Delay. Delivery was two days late. Delay compensation was inadequate. National refused to take into account regional differences when determining allowable hotel compensation. Billing. National charged us $188 for a non-existent TV carton. We explained that the "TV carton" had been cobbled together from old boxes and packing tape and asked for that amount to be re funded to us. The accounting department refused to communicate (emails went unanswered) and only relented when we threatened small claims court. We would also question why the charge for a TV carton is $188.

My items were placed on a truck with another individual being moved; I was the second person packed. The weight of my items came in under, but apparently the other individual had more items than expected. To get my items on the truck, many of my items were repacked once out of my possession; clothes taken out of wardrobe boxes in put in blankets; etc. When items arrived, the mover had to pull items off back of truck and ask, "is this your mattress, is this your box spring, is this you r patio furniture". Sticker numbers weren't called off or tracked. Now I submit a claim for missing rain boots and your feedback is "item not noted as missing on delivery papers." For a $20,000+ move, I'd expect items to not be comingled with another mover, items to remain packed and especially clothes that were incredibly expensive to remain in wardrobe boxes. And when items go missing because you've repacked items once out of my possession, you reimburse me.

People on the phone were helpful and responsive. Delivery folks were friendly and on time but we had damage to 2 pieces of furniture, and a lost TV remote.

I had to guide driver in to my house to load. Loading took hours and hours but the poor guys had to walk everything up a long driveway. Unloading took even longer as there were only two people unloading

My sales rep, Dennis Leash was great to work with as he was very responsive. However, my delivery was delayed because of illness (driver got Covid which was not his fault) and they broke a mirror that matched a dresser. Even though I had full replacement on my items, my deductible is $500 and the mirror is valued at less than that so there is no recourse, and I am without a mirror.

We moved from Las Cruces, NM to San Antonio, TX. The initial encounter was excellent that included the review and estimate. On the day of moving, a small firebox that was NOT to be loaded got taken and loaded on the truck. It was not stickered or documented. I realized it was gone before they left the property. After extensive looking, they did find it and returned to me. The items were brought to San Antonio in a timely fashion. Upon drop off at the storage unit, it was observed that many plast ic totes were cracked and damaged. Many boxes were crushed and items inside the boxes were poking out. The assistants ( local hires) that unloaded the trailer in SA, took too many items at once. I observed the woman dropping boxes on numerous occasions. I shuttered to think how many items have been broken or damaged in this move. We have 2 bicycles. Both bicycles were “adjusted” for the move. The handle bars are in a different position so the bikes are not operable at this time. They were not “re-adjusted” upon unloading. The driver was professional, punctual and keep me informed of his arrival to the storage unit. He was in charge of the the restacking of our belongings in the storage unit. He was able to make it fit.

I was generally happy except for many dings and scratches on my furniture.

Great loading with the crew in Boulder Colorado (Klatt/Taylor Moving). Poor execution and communication on delivery date commitments. Ended up being delivered significantly after window. Variable communication with drive but once established was good. Good hard working unloading crew at storage location.

Lots of scratches on furniture; delivery person tried charging more than what was agreed upon when the delivery was made. He said that the bill was only estimated. Next time I’ll make sure I get a binding estimate!

Overall the experience was good. The attention to detail and thoroughness by Anita and the team in Florida was great. Everything seemed to be packed with care. We were somewhat disappointed with the condition of certain items when they were delivered. One dinning room chair was broken, boxes were smooshed, other items were scratched and or dirty. The truck company was unwilling to park close to the storage unit. So, we had to use our own trucks to ferry everything to the storage unit.

It took 6 hours to pack and load my 1 bedroom. Ive done a lot of moves in the past and thought this was a little wild. The driver did deliver things in 6 days though which made up for it and was a pleasant surprise.

They misplaced my computer and I am waiting for a refund from the actual final cost versus what I paid upfront. The move itself was good.

Initial set up was great. Harry called and set an appointment to come and see what I had to move and we were off to a great start. The pack out crew showed up reasonably on time (thirty plus minutes late) but I was kept informed about the situation. It wasnt a huge deal but I had planned to leave town as early as possible so the delay was kind of annoying. They got things broken down and loaded once they did get started. My stuff actually arrived at the destination a couple of days earlier than I expected. Additionally, there was some confusion about the delivery date/time. I made arrangements with the driver and made work plans accordingly only to be told the evening before that delivery had been moved up a whole day and that the originally agreed upon date/time had been moved up to the worst possible time. Accommodating the new date/time cost me about $300 in addition to causing a hardship at both my work AND my sisters work. Items were in good shape on delivery but there were a few small items (shelf pins in the tv cabinet, other hardware that sort of thing) that never turned up. Taking the entire experience into account, I expected better service for the cost. I wasnt exactly disappointed but I definitely wasnt thrilled either.

National Van Lines and your driver were awesome. Moving Agent was not.
