Michael and friends were great. The only concern I had was the drop off date and time. It was unsettled until a few days before I had to be out of my house I sold. That process needs improvement! Kevin Allen and Nicole Allen, professional and responsive. Doesnt get any better! Id do it again!

Loading Fast, efficient; crew were careful not to damage furniture or walls, even in tight turns on stairways. Issue with our two e-bikes - they were unnecessarily broken down, then upon delivery were reassembled incompletely. Delivery Rushed. The crew were being rushed to get to their next job and were sloppy with reassembling some furniture and especially bikes (lost parts). Only minor damage to items. Ruined bike mirrors (lost parts meant they could not be re-attached), dented wine r efrigerator. Otherwise no significant damage. Nothing missing, except bike parts and some screws to another piece of furniture. Delay. Delivery was two days late. Delay compensation was inadequate. National refused to take into account regional differences when determining allowable hotel compensation. Billing. National charged us $188 for a non-existent TV carton. We explained that the "TV carton" had been cobbled together from old boxes and packing tape and asked for that amount to be re funded to us. The accounting department refused to communicate (emails went unanswered) and only relented when we threatened small claims court. We would also question why the charge for a TV carton is $188.

My items were placed on a truck with another individual being moved; I was the second person packed. The weight of my items came in under, but apparently the other individual had more items than expected. To get my items on the truck, many of my items were repacked once out of my possession; clothes taken out of wardrobe boxes in put in blankets; etc. When items arrived, the mover had to pull items off back of truck and ask, "is this your mattress, is this your box spring, is this you r patio furniture". Sticker numbers weren't called off or tracked. Now I submit a claim for missing rain boots and your feedback is "item not noted as missing on delivery papers." For a $20,000+ move, I'd expect items to not be comingled with another mover, items to remain packed and especially clothes that were incredibly expensive to remain in wardrobe boxes. And when items go missing because you've repacked items once out of my possession, you reimburse me.

The local Houston affiliate of NVL who packed my furniture was great. Almost all of my furniture arrived with no issues. However, the person with NVL who packed the semi-trailer, put someones motorcycle (!) next to my antique china cabinet. The motorcycle shifted and a handlebar went straight through the back of my cabinet. Plus one of my tables was put with someone elses items and was delivered the following day. Fortunately I paid for $0 deductible insurance and the claims process has been goo d.

National was great. Packing at 5 or 6after explicit directions packed my briefcase with passport, flight info, hotel booking etc.in shipped box , still looking. After direct instructions forgot to pack most expensive wines and Ports(1970 vintage). Last day after complaining got packed. Hugely under packboxes , coffee maker in large box with 3 times as much paper than the item

FIRST OF ALL THE PACKING WAS HT AND MISS. THE LEAD PERSON WAS GREAT AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB ESPECIALLY WITH BREAKABLE ITEMS. HOWEVER THE YOUNGER BOY NEEDED TO BE BETTER TRAINED AND/OR SUPERVISED, AS HE DID NOT TAKE CARE WITH SOME CLOTHING WHICH WERE PILED INTO A BOX, DIDN'T WRAP TWO OF MY EXPENSIVE SONOS SMALL SPEAKERS, AND SIMPLY PILED MANY BATHROOM ITEM ON TOP OF EACH OTHER IN ANOTHER BOX. ON THE OTHER HAND THE SHIPMENT ARRIVED ON TIME AND THE ANDREW WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. HE WAS VERY CAR EFUL, FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO BE HELPFUL IN EVERY MANNER POSSIBLE. HE TOOK HIS TIME AND WAS CAREFUL WITH ALL ITEMS. WE HAVE EMPTIED ALMOST ALL SIZABLE BOXES AND SO FAR HAVE NOT FOUND 3 HEAVY DUTY KITCHEN MATS AND A LARGE OUTDOOR GRILL MAT FOR IN FRONT OF THE WEBER GRILL. ANDREW INSTRUCTED US TO LET YOU KNOW IF WE WERE MISSING THEM AS HE THOUGHT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN LEFT IN THE WAREHOUSE INSTEAD OF PACKED IN A BOX. COULD SOMEONE CHECK TO SEE IF THEY WERE LEFT THERE? WE WILL UPDATE YOU IF WE FIND THEM HERE. PLEASE INFORM ME IF YOU IN FACT FIND THEM.

We used National Van Lines to relocate our family from NH to TN. Of the 3 quotes I got for the move, National Van Lines gave me the best price and most confidence that they knew what they were doing and would get the job done. My sales contact, Dennis, was very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. The move went relatively smoothly, and I enjoyed working with both Dennis from National Van Lines and Marvin and Shorty from the actual moving company, Ciceros. The reason for 4 stars versus 5 is it was very clear that we were dealing with 3 different companies during our move - National Van Lines, the actual moving company (Ciceros), and the crews hired to help load and unload on each end. It wasn't completely seamless between the 3 companies, but I relied on our drivers/packers - Marvin and Shorty - throughout the move as our point of contact. Everyone worked hard, and I was amazed at how fast the movers worked and how much they would carry on their backs up and down stairs. I pa rticularly enjoyed working with Marvin and Shorty from Ciceros. They worked so hard and kept our belongings well cared for. I hope not to have to move again any time soon, but I would welcome the opportunity to work with Marvin and Shorty from Ciceros again.

Paid a little more than we would have liked but Monty and the crew on both ends were hard workers and very professional. All items were accounted for and no damage was noted. Our sales rep. Aaron Bacon was great helping us prepare for the move and avoiding the horrible experience we had three years ago when we moved from the Northeast to Florida. A well deserved thanks to all involved during a stressful time in our lives.

Happy with service. However .. we definitely are missing a couple things. We've checked all boxes. One box containing bathroom accessories with a men's Braun electric shaver series 9 sport plus containing shaver, cleaning station. Also, a set of keys in the workbench drawer are missing. We will have to replace the items or hire a locksmith.

Overall, it was a great move. The team was efficient but careful and friendly. My only observations are safety related, and include; improper lifting, pulling a two-wheel dolly up a flight of stairs instead of using a tri-wheeled one designed for that, and lacking proper cutting tools to remove tape and plastic wrap. Dennis was great as were all of the packers from the two companies contracted to support our move. I know the packers/unpackers are not part of NVL but felt they deserved some recognition. I would not, however, recommend our driver Bob. Nearly every time I pointed out something missing or damaged, he would argue with me. He had terrible body odor, and he blatantly ate our food during the packing days. He was probably the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with across any job or re sponsibility.

The driver and assistants were courteous and respectful. Donny was in contact with me regarding a time frame and it was always met. The losd was delivered as expected. The only negative comment I have is that I was constantly reminded, almost daily, of payment required. I have obtained service with National several times previously and was made to feel uncomfortable and frustrated.

People on the phone were helpful and responsive. Delivery folks were friendly and on time but we had damage to 2 pieces of furniture, and a lost TV remote.

I had to guide driver in to my house to load. Loading took hours and hours but the poor guys had to walk everything up a long driveway. Unloading took even longer as there were only two people unloading
