I hired Maison Movers when I needed to move a short distance to a rental home after selling my home in Orange County. They did an outstanding job and I couldn’t have been happier. Because of my first experience, I then hired them to move a piece of freight from my rental home to a loading dock at a local shipping company. I experienced the same great transaction. When it was time to move to my new home in the Central Coast of California from Orange County, I didn’t have to worry that the 3rd time wouldn’t be the charm.
Exceptional job moving me out of my home and into a new home out of state!!! Took care of me from start to finish, handled my furniture with total care and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Worked with me as far as longer storage times as my closing was delayed, couldn’t have had a better experience! Right prices, too!
We have moved four times and this is the only company I would recommend. The movers were respectful and Tom accommodated me after we had to change our closing date. No furniture or wall was damaged and we had a mess since painters had already started in the new house and the movers worked with the painters to get all the boxes where they needed to be . They were also priced the best!! Don’t even bother calling anyone else for a quote just book them!
Newtown was selected through the US Army to handle our move from Brooklyn to Buffalo. At 7 months pregnant I had little tolerance for nonsense and received none at all. Matter of fact - this was the best, easiest, and least stressful move of my life. The gentleman taking specs for the quote was on time and super polite despite my very dumb and large dog jumping on him and following him around. The day of the move, three super nice and on time men showed up and did a packing job that I wouldn't have taken so much care in.... they packed a two bedroom house in very little time and within a week, on time as promised two other wonderful men showed up in Buffalo (early!) and dropped everything off. I WISH these guys were stationed here in Buffalo - I would have these guys pack up my grandmother and move her.
I've used Newtown Moving twice already (2008 and 2016). Both times it was a phenomenal experience. I was referred to them by a friend and called Todd, the owner. He was extremely polite and came by my house the first time, then to my apartment the second time prior to the move in order to give me an estimate on cost. He even asked if I needed his guys to help me pack anything the day of the move and mentioned if we needed additional boxes, wraps, etc, they had that as well. Basically, Newtown is an all in one moving shop which is great, especially if you know the stress of moving.
Professional Moving and Storage has helped our family with multiple moves, both small and large, both local and distance. Each time has gone really smoothly and they have been dependable and punctual. There have been no issues. We have also used their storage options for both long term storage (renting a climate controlled unit) and short term storage (storing new furniture till we were ready for it). We highly recommend this company!
Effective quick responses facilitated our move. We chose for them to do all the packing. Wow--best money I've spent. Crew of nice, experienced men showed up on time, efficiently packed our entire house and GARAGE into boxes in 6 hours for moving the next day. Doing this ourselves would have taken days and probably would not be done as well as they did it. Moving went great. Movers showed up at the stated time of 8:30AM. Loading the truck and unloading with repositioning our boxes into the new house was done with a smile. Even when we made errors about what went where and they had to move it several times, there was no grumbling. The owners came to the house and gave us a bid with a "not to exceed" limit. They were often on site and when they were not Mr. Morris ensured the crew moved efficiently. The final bill came in more than $800 less. I am glad we spent a little more and got the crew pizza for lunch. They expressed their appreciation. The crew was a mix of fellas, but each of them were concerned with our move and worked to make us satisfied.
Gerber Moving & Storage exceeded my expectations! Cody and his crew did a fantastic job, were professional and took very good care of our furniture. Would highly recommend them for anyone moving local or long distance (we moved from Kansas City to Denver, Colorado). The pricing and professionalism were second to none. Thanks Gerber!
