Our experience with our National Van Lines 2300-mile move was exceptional from beginning to end. It started with a home visit by Thomas of American Way. He clearly explained the moving process, helped us inventory out belongings and gave us helpful tips on effective packing. Later, he and Adam were both patient and understanding as we changed our minds several times about the details of our contract. Our National Van Lines driver, Marco, was amazing! He communicated clearly with us regardin g the schedule and paperwork details, worked extremely hard loading and unloading our possessions and related with us in a way that was positive, personable and professional. We felt that he truly got to know us and cared about us, our possessions and our move. We watched in awe as he skillfully backed that giant truck down the long and winding driveway that leads to our condo clear in the back of the complex. The gentlemen who helped him load and unload the truck were also very hard-working pr ofessional movers who knew what they were doing. Together, the team assured that our possessions arrived at our new home unscathed. While we hope never to make a cross-country move again ourselves, to anyone planning to do so, we whole-heartedly say: "Choose National!"

The move was very difficult and had many obstacles! First, the day of the move was the hottest day of the year!!! Over a hundred degrees in my state of Massachusetts . The man in charge, Pedro Roman, ended up with one helper instead of the 2 that was planned! They had to transfer because of the size of the truck! They worked through the whole day and completed the next morning! He had about 4 stops before he got to me in Florida!!! Arriving on the 4th of July and delivering on time inspite of t he Holiday and again had to transfer everything at the last minute! I am 82 and have moved many homes and businesses in my life! Pedro Roman is the best!!!!!! Now the only issues where because maybe the change in helpers or the transfers of a whole house and art studio between trucks! A office chair and a small box where probably dropped at the wrong location and of the 100s of items shipped only one glass a on a picture frame was broken and a statue was broken! National Van Lines said they wo uld take care of the loss! Thank you National Van Lines and Pedro Roman for taking care of me, my family and my possessions! Best regards, Alan Kalish
