We had a fantastic experience with American Moving. My son and I went down to Savannah to help my aging parents pack up and move, and I spent a lot of time with Kevin Allen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The local crew that packed up mom and dad was thoughtful, efficient, and friendly. When the inevitable bumps in the road presented themselves -- this is moving, after all -- Kevin was our tireless advocate. When the van-line driver (a separate contractor) was difficult, Kevin intervened (quite, uh, forcefully) to help us out. There is no way my father could have handled that without help. When we needed some help with a dispute with a crating company, Kevin weighed in, saving us money. And for weeks afterwards Kevin was in touch with us, making sure that any loose ends were tied up to our satisfaction. He didn't have to do that -- he'd cashed the check long ago -- but he clearly takes pride in great customer service. I heartily recommend these guys.
