My family hired Garttmeyers moving to move my parents from their house in Holland to their new home in Newtown. They were extremely easy to work with and I feel like we didn’t have to lift a finger! They were able to provide a virtual quote the same exact time I called which was extremely helpful. They were on time, nothing was broken and the move went off without a hitch! They even stayed and helped assemble all of our furniture afterwards! Great job guys!

Austin and his team moved us from our second story apartment to our new single family home. They arrived right on time, and were very professional and efficient in finishing the job. It only took them 4 hours to complete the entire move, including assembling multiple pieces of furniture. They pad wrapped our furniture for protection and laid out runners to protect our hardwood floors. We would recommend them to anybody looking to move.

The guys doing the moving were great! We did get charged for mattress boxes which we did not receive, and the guys said they'd let the office know and we would get a reimbursement check, but we have not received it yet.

Very impressed from the start. First Garttmeyer Moving & Storage, local originator was wonderful to work and very responsive especially Nina. Garttmeyer worked well within my deadlines. The day of the packing, the Garttmeyer crew showed up and packed all fragile and larger items I was not able to do so on my own. They were very efficient. The driver, Nestor, from National Van Lines showed up on time at the conclusion of the packing and he and his crew tagged, logged and loaded my belongin gs. I made my way to my new home state and closed on the new house and Nestor and crew showed up the next day with my load for unloading which went extremely well. As I have unpacked all of my belongings, all is intact. I am very pleased with the results of this move from start to finish. Nestor, the driver kept in touch with me and I was aware of where my belongings were from the time they were packed until the truck arrived to unload. I also received a follow up call from Garttmeye r to check in once all of my items were unloaded. You hear so many stories of things gone wrong with moving experiences and your life is on a truck and in someone else's possession. Mine is a story of all things that went right. I highly recommend the two companies I worked with on this move.
