The team at National Van Lines was top-notch! From the moment we first reached out to them about our move until the last box was secure in our new home, they were professional and kind. They made it easy to stay informed about the process and steps and kept us updated along the way. Our driver was especially courteous and careful, we could tell he really cared about providing the best possible moving experience for our family. I would highly recommend National Van Lines and especially Willamett e Express to anyone considering a long-distance move.
From start to finish my move was smooth. The gentlemen who picked up my belongings were amazing. The gentlemen who delivered belongings were amazing as well. I never met the man who drove my stuff from Pennsylvania to Nevada but it all got here in one piece. I can't say enough about this company! Thanks to everyone who made my transition smooth.
Cheryl and Mark, as well as Theresa, in the later stages of planning, were so flexible. The NJ side of the move was seamless and the storage. They even came back an hour later to pick up a few extra things they couldn't fit on their truck.
On the second leg to Mn, I did feel that our furniture were packed in ways that were not ideal. Though I did not submit any damages, 2 tables were worse for wear (leg broken which we glued and an antique leave table that had dents on top and the lower le af that will need to be glued back on, we hope). This was not a reflection on the NJ team who were impeccable in their follow through and care. The gentleman who checked the boxes coming in did an extra review at the end and walk through to find missing numbers.
I would use ALL-NJ Movers again and recommend them.
National Van Lines made the process of moving halfway across the country pretty easy. Our transportation point of contact was Sam Meredith and he was great. He was responsive and his guidance was on point and helpful. The driver was Randy Eaton and the loading and unloading went extremely smooth. He was professional and a pleasure to deal with. We shipped an elliptical machine and a treadmill and both arrived undamaged. Id use National Van Lines again and recommend them highly.
I have used Maison Moving that utilizes National Van Lines for cross country moves before. Interactions with Maison Moving and Daniel Berrie was flawless and he is excellent with sales and service. Pick-up was uneventful and smooth. I was originally given a two week window for delivery which was fine as I was in no hurry for the load to arrive. However the articles arrived 4 days later than expected due to apparently a truck that my delivery was on experienced problems and was in the shop. I did find this unusual that a single truck breakdown affected deliveries from a national moving company. Communication from NVL however was good and they kept me apprised of the situation. It appears that another truck delivered my items although that truck also experienced some mechanical issues. Delivery occurred without incident.
Recently did a cross-country move (from AZ to IL) through National Van Lines. On the AZ side, the representative Harry was such a gentleman, who was very professional and helpful. The quote he gave us was the best among a few national movers we contacted. Better yet, Harry mentioned that, if the final total weight was less than quoted, we would receive a partial refund. In the end, since we moved less stuff than we initially planned and thus we had less total weight than initially quoted, we did receive some refund. That was a great experience. The company was truly customer-friendly. Also, the driver, Andrew, was very fun, helpful, and accommodating, who helped us to figure out the best moving time and date due to the elevator availability on the IL side. Overall, our experience with the moving team and National Van Lines was super positive, and we will not hesitate to recommend them to our family and friends.
From the very first return phone call from my on line inquiry, every single person I was in contact with was absolutely amazing. Mr Khan was very professional and clear in explaining it all to me. His initial handling made this a no brainer that National is the company I will use. Susan and Del are just the nicest people on the planet. My move was a little iffy as I was dealing with my mothers estate, but Susan worked with me setting her calendar to call me back as needed. Every phone call j ust amazed me how helpful National was to my needs, my schedule. Then I was in contact with Mr Snyder. Again, super kind, absolutely amazing to work with. He adjusted his time to ease the stress I was under. 10 golden stars to him. Love this company and will let everyone I know who needs to move, to call yall!! Top Shelf from the first hello!!!!! Im sorry I have to file a claim on my piano. But that claim has nothing to do with the individuals who truly handled me with kit gloves.
Well overall this was good however it took them 11days to deliver t6o Oregon from California the issue was the lack of communication on when it was going to arrive. I called and wouldn't receive a response until several days later and felt lihe I was bothering tgem...sat around wondering what and when things would be delivered. So points off on that part of customer service but the people that picked upped and delivered were excellent
