We could not have been more pleased with Century Van Lines. Brett Johnson was very through with the estimate and explanation of services needed. The team of Dakota, Josh, Hadari and Avery did a swell job of packing and moving our household. They were polite, profession, careful, helpful and nice to be around. And, we were more than happy to know they would pick up and recycle the used boxes! Kudos to these Century Van Lines representatives!

We had a wonderful experience working with the team at American Way. From the very beginning, Eric Wright was responsive, professional and honest. He took his time walking through our home to give us an accurate estimate. He followed up and returned my phone calls promptly. He was also so flexible and worked with me when I needed to make changes multiple times. He was very patient! On the day of the move, Mike and Peanut were fantastic as well – they took their time packing all of our belongings, and making sure the fragile items were secure prior to packing in a box. They were nice, asked questions when they were unsure about something, and did not rush. Nothing was even scratched when we unpacked our belongings. All of our boxes were clearly labeled which made it so much easier when we arrived at our new home. The driver Desmond was fantastic!!! He and the girl working with him (I forget her name) were again, so professional, and took their time loading the truck and packing the large furniture items. They took extreme care into packing very old, fragile items. Overall, we were so pleased with our experience with American Way and would recommend them to anyone moving out of state!! Thank you for giving us peace of mind as we made such a big move from Ohio to North Carolina.

it is too easy of a survey. all 5’s across the board. John, Elsis our driver is a master at what is does. He fully took charge of both crews picking up and delivery. His courtesy and expertise was like I have never had before. 8 PCS moves and our final retirement move; his class of customer satisfaction is unparalleled. On his own, he bought newer hardware to replace the original furniture hardware( this is on new furniture) because “it would hold longer and safer than the original hardware” Moving agents should seriously take a moment to see his style and use him as the “role model” as far as how people should treat people”. I see him as a friend of our family now as that is how he treated us.

I can't recommend this moving company enough. They were very professional, responsive, finished in a timely manner, and a great value. The main mover I had, Troy, was exceptional. He has been doing this for almost 30 years and knows how to handle and move, even the "impossible" large heavy furniture I did not think was going to be able to get upstairs. He found a way and delegated accordingly with the other movers. They have an extensive fleet of moving trucks, and can handle any load. This moving company is a family owned business, and you can see the care, quality, and values that are put into each job. I highly recommend this company if you are on the market to move.

I just can’t say enough good about JT Melia Moving company. They were on time and the men worked hard and fast. Not one item was damaged or lost. That in its self is amazing because that’s never happened in other moves. The icing on the cake was that it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. They came under the quoted amount. Super impressed and I will definitely use them again in my next move. I strongly recommend them.

Southbay moving systems did a wonderful job with our move! The movers helped us pack and disassemble/assemble our furniture. They were also very considerate by bringing runners to prevent any damages to the floor and furniture. The whole process felt like a breeze since the move was so quick and efficient! We had a fantastic experience with American Moving. My son and I went down to Savannah to help my aging parents pack up and move, and I spent a lot of time with Kevin Allen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. The local crew that packed up mom and dad was thoughtful, efficient, and friendly. When the inevitable bumps in the road presented themselves -- this is moving, after all -- Kevin was our tireless advocate. When the van-line driver (a separate contractor) was difficult, Kevin intervened (quite, uh, forcefully) to help us out. There is no way my father could have handled that without help. When we needed some help with a dispute with a crating company, Kevin weighed in, saving us money. And for weeks afterwards Kevin was in touch with us, making sure that any loose ends were tied up to our satisfaction. He didn't have to do that -- he'd cashed the check long ago -- but he clearly takes pride in great customer service. I heartily recommend these guys.

Sha, Kevin, and Christian handled our move last week and really took care of us. They were friendly and worked quickly but most importantly they took extra measures to make sure our items made it to our destination without a scratch or dent. We hired them just to load our truck but they took extra measures to wrap and cushion dozens of our items which other moving companies have never done for me before without requesting it. I highly recommend them and this team specifically.
