Recently l moved from Chicago to San Diego w/ a different company The experience was next to challenging. I was presented w bills it seemed at every turn contrary to what was quoted.I moved back to Chicago in several months. With the first company items were lost and destroyed. With National I had one person who followed through w/ the entire move with no hidden charges. At arrival in Chicago I had a crew who moved me in, unpacked and I chose the extra service of 'putting way.' I was impresse d and not disappointed with service and personnel. The compliment comes from a picky customer who expects competence and honesty. ESP kudos to Blake and in Chicago Alex (mover warehouse.) Anything else?

National Van Lines was responsive and our driver showed up on time at both pick-up and drop-off and our shipment wasn't delayed. They showed up at the times and days that they promised which was a relief for my husband and I. They were very communicative and thorough in their in-home estimate. We're very happy with National Van Lines.

This was my first formal move in 35 years, and the last one was paid for and organized by the company. I went with National because the AQMS Rep, David Jacobs, was so attentive and responsive when I expressed my somewhat unique needs (no packing, no furniture, only standard 13x13x16 boxes, delivered to my mother's garage). He was the only one who did so. I was also very pleased when the pricing was very competitive with other alternatives. David kept me very informed on the status of my move arrangements. When the move dates were set National Van Lines also kept me very up-to-date on the arrangements (shuttle truck) and schedule. The pickup guy, whose name I inexcusably cannot remember/did not write down, contacted me the day before and again the morning of to keep me apprised of his status and his imminent arrival. He was very professional and efficient, and I felt my boxes were in good hands. During the move I was kept informed of the expected arrival date. I was contacte d by Marvin, the drop-off driver, keeping me updated on his status and expected arrival time. In the end we decided that his prior job was taking long enough to delay his arrival at my location until the next morning (which was good because it allowed the rain to taper off, and maybe for Marvin to get some extra rest). Marvin placed the truck so as not to impede any of my neighbour's access, and quickly and efficiently unloaded my shipment into my mother's garage. He was professional, just like all the other people I dealt with during this move. I do not know when I might need to move again, but if and when I do I would not hesitate to go with AQMS/NVL again, and I would describe my positive experience with them to anyone who wants to know about it. Our driver Damon Clark and his crew did an excellent job. Our move across the country was stressful enough. My wife and i were very pleased with the professionalism, timely and courteous service. Damon kept us up to date with his ETA and travel. He arrived on time as promised. His care of our belongings was exceptional. He took that stress out of or move by reassuring us constantly. His crew loaded and unloaded our belongings and were engaged in placing everything where directed. His cre w even took the time to help put most of our furniture back together. After hearing several people's nightmare moving stories, I was extremely nervous about which company to go with. After speaking to Brandon several times, I am so happy that I chose them. Brandon talked me through every concern and made me feel comfortable up until the day my items were delivered. The 3 guys that picked up my items were just as wonderful as Brandon was. They were fast, friendly and very professional. Hopefully I don't have to move out of state again, but if I do, i am definite ly calling National. Thank you to each and every one of you.

Thank you for the great service i received in my recent move with AQMS and National Van Lines. The move went without a hitch, although there are a few boxes that are crushed and a few scratches on furniture, broken rollers on a small standing heater, I consider myself fortunate considering the long haul cross country. I still have all boxes to unpack so I won't know of any broken or damaged items until then. Working with Agent Taz San Lucas was a pleasant experience. He was referred by a neig hbor and from beginning to end, he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and quick to respond to all questions. He was the key to making the move easy and smooth. The driver (Joe Claustin and two furniture movers were the best. Their work ethic was tops, they were focused, fast and had a great attitude. I'm very happy I used AQMS and National Van Lines. I am truly grateful for the team assembled by Jack Morgan in Santa Clarita! The guys worked steadily in a team-like and professional manner. From the estimate, to vault storage, and final delivery, what Jack estimated was what got delivered. No hidden fees. AQMS of National Van Lines was recommended to me from a friend and prior customer, and I would recommend them to another friend who too will soon be retiring. I could not be happier with the attention and service that I received from National Van Lines. I'm sure that I spoke to over fifteen different moving companies and still could not make a decision. I was apprehensive and somewhat worried as I was moving several pieces of family heirlooms from California to Michigan many of which were upholstered in fancy white damask. Blake Contardi was so professional and confident that I felt assured that National was the correct choice. I connected with him im mediately and he called me a few times to go over details and questions that I had. The actual moving days went perfectly - both loading from California and unloading in Michigan. Mike Winn was fantastic! He was so careful about preparing the pieces for the move and triple wrapped everything. All my worries immediately disappeared. . And his crews, both in California and in Michigan were exemplary. They were courteous, careful, and did the job quickly. Upon arrival, Mike and his crew placed ever ything in the exact place that I asked for. Every piece arrived in perfect shape. Great service from start to finish. Sales rep was very informative from the beginning and answered all our questions and walked us through the moving process. When questions came up, was quick to respond. Driver and two loaders, were hardworking, professional and handled our belongings with care. We liked the fact that they stayed with our belongings from start to finish.
