Last weekend, National Van Lines held our annual employee picnic. The event, which has been held every summer for decades, was fiesta-themed. Things kicked off with a salsa and guacamole contest, followed by lunch. Games for all ages included tug-o-war, water balloon tosses, egg tosses and karaoke.
Lisa V., who works in our call center, took first place for the guacamole contest. Deborah M., who works in billing, came in second. The salsa contest was won by Rita K., future mother-in-law of Jill P. who works in the executive department. Second place was awarded to Carol H. from the credit department.
Planning, teamwork and cooperation in the weather department contributed to the success of the 2014 National Van Lines Fiesta picnic. Children and adults were captivated by Eric of RC Juggle as he daringly juggled swords and flames. His balloon designs were incredible. You can tell by the children’s faces that they truly were entertained. Eric did not leave until every child had their own special balloon creation.
Food was creatively catered by Spring Forest in Willow Springs, and they helped keep with the event’s Fiesta theme.
Thank You to All Who Made Our Fiesta Possible
